The Badgers

«Why do we have to be normal?» asks ten-year-old Nora as her family moves into an old house on the outskirts of Oslo. Her father, obsessed with returning to nature, declares they will now live like badgers: sleeping by day, digging burrows, and eating roots. Her mother struggles to maintain a facade of civilization while the neighbors watch with growing bewilderment. This 2025 family tragicomedy turns domestic conflict into an absurd satire of modern notions of happiness and freedom.
