🎬 MovieFinder's Take
The film constructs a fragile world at the intersection of gritty realism and parable-like fantasy, where a supernatural ability feels less like a gift and more like a curse. It relies on an atmosphere of impending doom to explore how physical and emotional wounds forge bonds between outcasts.
What lingers after the viewing is not spectacle, but a raw, nearly tactile immersion into a social underworld, where magic only heightens human vulnerability. A heavy, yet profoundly honest encounter with the pain of others. — MovieFinder Editorial
