Pierre, a forty-year-old accountant from Lyon, suddenly decides to walk the Camino de Santiago. Without a word to his wife, he simply walks out of his office and boards a train. Along the way, he meets strange fellow travelers: a German widow searching for meaning after her husband's death, a Spanish student running from debt, and a French priest who believes more in wine than in God.
