Somalia, 1993. An elite team of U.S. Army Rangers and Delta Force operators launches what should be a swift mission to capture key lieutenants of a warlord in the heart of Mogadishu. The operation, planned to last an hour, descends into a harrowing street fight when a Black Hawk helicopter is shot down with a rocket-propelled grenade. Stranded in a maze of narrow alleys, the soldiers find themselves surrounded by thousands of armed militia. Their objective shifts from completing the mission to a desperate struggle for survival and the rescue of their trapped comrades near the crash site, under relentless fire.
