🎬 MovieFinder's Take

The film constructs a light, almost ironic satire of military life, using the protagonist's naivety as a lens to observe the absurdity of bureaucracy and "connections." It relies on gentle humor and understatement, exploring how a young man passes through the system, scarcely feeling its weight.

Those who tire of grand narratives will find a witty comedy of manners where real battles are replaced by skirmishes with routine. What lingers after is a sense of warm nostalgia for simple tales where drama dissolves into a smile. — MovieFinder Editorial
