🎬 MovieFinder's Take
Director Du Jiagi constructs the narrative as a series of physical and emotional trials, where the landscape acts as a full-fledged character, and the camera works with the contrast between Tibet's epic beauty and the fragility of the solitary traveler. The film explores not so much a geographical journey as an inner transformation born on the edge of survival.
What lingers after the final frame is a sense of catharsis—a quiet, hard-won peace and the expansive feeling of having completed a pilgrimage alongside the protagonist. It’s a testament to resilience, not conquest. — MovieFinder Editorial
