Where Souls Go

Louise, a Parisian architect, inherits an old Normandy house from her childhood after her aunt's passing. Along with the keys comes a letter asking her to 'find what was forgotten.' Arriving at the vacant mansion, she finds not dusty trunks but faint footprints on the floors, as if someone still walks the rooms. Her search leads to a local archivist who murmurs, 'Souls don't leave here; they just change rooms.' The family's past unravels through faded photographs, half-erased diary entries, and soft echoes in empty hallways. The film explores the borders of memory, the ghosts of nostalgia, and how places retain the emotions of those who lived there. Each corner becomes a portal to another time, forcing Louise to question whether to release the past or grant it a permanent home.
