Nemurubaka: Hypnic Jerks

Comedy with no ambitions to be more — and that's honest. It gets laughs not through subtlety but through recognition. The director knows their audience and delivers.

A well-executed light comedy is its own skill. They managed it here. Not brilliant, but honest and good-natured.

Good for watching with friends or family. Solo viewing works too, just less.
