The Killer Goldfish
Harold, a failed aquarist, buys a strange goldfish named Bubbles at a flea market. "It just stares at me," he complains to his neighbor, right before cats start disappearing from his apartment. Bubbles turns out to be an ancient entity that feeds not on flakes, but on human fear. Soon, an entire suburban block is under threat, and the only one who can stop the killer fish is Harold himself, armed with a net and a jar of fish food. The film walks the line between absurdity and horror, turning an ordinary aquarium into a portal to a nightmare. The plot unfolds through a series of ridiculous deaths and dialogues where the main villain silently swims in circles.

🎬 MovieFinder's Take
Director Mika Lang employs slasher tropes but turns them upside down, replacing a maniac with a palm-sized creature. The camera often shoots from 'aquarium level,' creating a claustrophobic perspective.
Those who tire of predictable horror will find a bizarre catharsis in the sheer absurdity of a goldfish terrorizing a neighborhood. What lingers after the credits is the unsettling question of what else might be lurking in a pet store tank. — MovieFinder Editorial
