The Ghost and Mr. Chicken

Luther Heggs just wanted to write a good story for the local paper. His assignment: spend one night in the town’s infamous haunted mansion. The problem: Luther is terrified of everything, from creaking doors to his own shadow. This 1966 comedy-mystery follows the timid typesetter as he stumbles through a night of spectral encounters, accidental heroics, and a surprising chance at romance, all while trying to prove a murder really did happen in the old Simms house.
