Maze
Artist Lyle Maze is reconciled to a life without romance thanks to his dual afflictions: Tourette's Syndrome and obsessive-compulsive disorder. But his life takes an unexpected turn when his friend Mike departs on a humanitarian mission, leaving behind his pregnant girlfriend Callie. 🎬 MovieFinder's Take
The film constructs a gentle narrative from the unlikely foundation of Lyle's neurological conditions, exploring how love can emerge in the most carefully arranged lives. It relies on the chemistry between the leads to sell a connection that feels earned rather than forced, finding humor and pathos in the details.
What lingers after the credits is a quiet admiration for the characters' resilience and the film's refusal to offer easy solutions. It’s a story about finding grace in the messiness of life. — MovieFinder Editorial
