Five friends, representatives of the Fifties generation, reunite after years of silence. One emerges from prison, another from a series of 'accidental' murders, a third abandons his wife and children, the fourth is a perpetual wanderer, and the last, the gang's girl, comes from a lunatic asylum where she has been hiding. They are all outcasts, tortured by barren love affairs, wounded by the deaths of beloved friends, and betrayed by the politics of their era. They hopelessly attempt to reconstruct the gang of their youth, but the revolution is lost. Now, each will embark on their own journey toward death, opening a new chapter in their generation's history.

🎬 MovieFinder's Take

Nikos Nikolaidis' film is a bitter elegy for lost illusions, shot with near-documentary ruthlessness. The frames are saturated with melancholy and rage, as characters teeter between nostalgia and self-destruction.

What lingers after viewing is not just a crime drama, but a profound portrait of an entire generation shattered against the rocks of history. The film leaves a heavy, yet necessary residue—a conversation about the cost of ideals and the ghosts we carry. — MovieFinder Editorial
