Michael, a former marine biologist, returns to Texas after a failed expedition. His old mentor, Professor Clark, insists on a new mission: a giant mutant shark, born from military experiments, is terrorizing the Gulf Coast. Teaming up with volunteers—local fisherman Carlos and eco-activist Sarah—they set sail on the rickety vessel "Sea Star." An early exchange sets the tone: "This isn't a hunt, Michael. It's redemption." Their journey takes them through a storm that washes crucial gear overboard and into underwater caves where the predator lurks. Tensions escalate when they discover the military intends to capture the shark alive for further testing.
