A Brief Affair

Marco, a Milanese architect, receives an unexpected inheritance—a dilapidated villa in Tuscany. Arriving to settle the paperwork, he clashes with Anna, a stubborn local who believes the house rightfully belongs to her family. Their first meeting ends in a shouting match, but fate, in the form of a forgetful notary and a peculiar local co-ownership law, forces them to live under the same roof. What begins as a territorial war of slammed doors and sarcastic remarks over breakfast slowly morphs into something else. Between arguments over terrace repairs and joint trips to the market, a strange friendship blossoms, followed by a feeling neither of them anticipated. The film explores how the most absurd circumstances can lead to genuine happiness if given a chance.
