Sunlight

Mark wakes up in his ordinary Moscow apartment to find the sun shining with impossible intensity — so bright he can barely open his eyes. Instead of the usual morning haze, the city is flooded with blinding light that doesn't fade by evening or the next day. In this absurd situation, the protagonist tries to maintain normal life: going to work, meeting his girlfriend, calling his parents, but the world gradually loses its contours. The 2025 comedy-drama transforms mundane reality into phantasmagoria where the central conflict unfolds not between people, but between a human and a natural phenomenon gone rogue. The film explores how we cling to routine when familiar reality collapses, and what remains of relationships when you can only see others as dark silhouettes against all-consuming light.
