Antoine, a Parisian designer, returns to his native village for his grandfather's funeral. He plans to leave in three hours, but the old house, with no cell service, becomes his trap. Instead of silence, he encounters neighbors who remember him as a child, local traditions he cannot refuse, and the task of sorting through the deceased's belongings. Every object holds a story, every conversation tests the urbanite's patience. Antoine tries to maintain distance, but provincial life won't let go. Gradually, absurd situations—like searching for a lost chicken or entering a pie contest—suck him into the whirlwind of the life he fled. The film explores the clash of two Frances: the dynamic capital and the countryside frozen in its rituals.
