Sundarakanda

Ashwin, a successful Bangalore IT professional, receives an unusual task from his father: to find and bring back an ancient manuscript of the "Sundarakanda," stolen from the family years ago. His search leads him to Chennai, to the home of a Sanskrit scholar, where he meets the man's daughter—sharp, intelligent, and utterly uninterested in his mission, Anu. Their first encounter ends in an argument, but fate, or more precisely, the tangled family history linking their fathers, keeps throwing them together. What begins as forced cooperation in pursuit of an artifact gradually transforms into a journey across South India, filled with comedic situations, cultural clashes, and unexpected revelations. Ashwin, used to the logic of code, and Anu, living among ancient texts, must find common ground to unravel a mystery that could either separate them forever or offer something far greater than a recovered book.
