The crew of the Yamato presses on through the void, their desperate mission to reach planet Iscandar and save a dying Earth. As they approach the Galactic Frontier, they are ambushed by the relentless war fleet of the Garmillas Empire. Captain Okita, pilot Kodai, and the enigmatic Yuki must fight a battle where space itself is their battlefield.
