Marcos, a former police officer battling alcoholism, receives an anonymous envelope containing a photo of the remote location where his sister vanished twenty years ago. Instead of evidence, he finds only a children's book, "The Wolf's Tale," filled with cryptic margin notes. Each page pulls him deeper into the dense forests of northern Spain, where locals whisper about an ancient ritual and a figure in a wolf mask. The investigation twists into a nightmare when Marcos realizes the hunter has become the prey, and the line between reality and fairy tale dissolves completely.
