Transmutation
Alex, a biology student, discovers an alchemist's diary from the 19th century in the university archives. The pages are filled with formulas for metal transmutation, but the final entries describe something else entirely—an attempt to transmute human flesh. One night in the lab, he replicates one of the experiments, and a glass flask fills with a strange, pulsating light. From that moment, reality around Alex begins to shift: the walls of his apartment seem to "breathe," familiar people speak in foreign voices, and mirrors show reflections that live their own lives. This 2026 fantasy horror explores the boundary between scientific discovery and ancient curse, where every piece of knowledge has its price, and magic reveals itself as a forgotten branch of genetics.

🎬 MovieFinder's Take
The director constructs the narrative through a contrast of cold scientific aesthetics and organic, almost biological horror. The camera lingers on details—rusty pipes, droplets of condensation, the texture of aged paper—creating a sense of tactile presence within this world.
Those who appreciate slow-burn paranoia, where every sound and shadow becomes part of the puzzle, will find much to unravel. What lingers is a persistent unease, as if the laws of physics themselves have grown unreliable. — MovieFinder Editorial
