🎬 MovieFinder's Take

The film constructs a classic tragedy from the fabric of rural Anatolia, where personal desire clashes with rigid social codes. It explores themes of honor, fate, and the corrosive power of rumor through a stark, visually poetic lens.

What lingers after the final shot is the bitter taste of a paradise lost, where revenge becomes the only harvest left to reap. — MovieFinder Editorial
