I Am Going to Miss You

Luís and Maria meet in Lisbon by chance, ten years after their breakup. He is now a renowned architect, she is a pianist touring Europe. Over one evening on the old tram №28 and in a café by the Tagus River, they try to understand what remains of their love and what could have been. The 2026 drama explores not so much the plot of reunion as the space between words, gestures, and silence. The director uses Portuguese light and the sounds of the city as full-fledged characters, creating a slow, almost tactile film about time, missed opportunities, and that particular melancholy the Portuguese call 'saudade'.
