Ema Wakabayashi, a temp worker at a glamorous celebrity banquet hall, loses her job after standing up against her superior's harassment of a junior colleague. Adrift, she stumbles into a perfume shop run by a mysterious woman named Yayoi Shirashi, known locally as the 'witch.' Assisting in the shop, Ema discovers that Yayoi's words and the scents she shares hold a transformative power, offering keys to shaping her own destiny.
