🎬 MovieFinder's Take

The film constructs its narrative on the delicate interplay of farce and tender romance, using the case of mistaken identity to explore themes of loneliness and the yearning for connection. It relies on a minimalist, almost theatrical approach, where the actors' performances and the escalating absurdity drive the story forward.

What lingers after the final scene is a poignant aftertaste beneath the eccentric surface—a meditation on how far we might go to maintain an illusion that makes us feel seen and loved. — MovieFinder Editorial
