Myth of Man

Professor Iris van der Weyden discovers her human behavior prediction algorithm has reached 100% accuracy. "We don't choose—we compute," she tells a colleague over coffee, as the system predicts his next question before he speaks. A sudden data anomaly reveals one person whose actions remain unpredictable: a homeless man living near the old port. Authorities and corporations begin hunting this "glitch" in the system, seeing him as a threat to the entire predictive order. Iris must decide whether to eliminate the anomaly or protect the last island of unpredictability in a world where every move is already calculated. Her own algorithm starts predicting her decisions, creating a loop with no apparent exit.
