🎬 MovieFinder's Take

The film constructs a classic comedy of errors, relying on the timeless trope of mistaken identity and social displacement. It explores the contrast between the plain-spoken American and the rigid English aristocracy, setting the stage for gentle yet witty situational humor.

What lingers after the final act is the charm of a well-played masquerade, where the hero's good intentions constantly skirt the edge of discovery. — MovieFinder Editorial
