An aspiring actor, trapped in the grind of auditions, encounters an eccentric stranger during a lunch break who declares himself a 'showman.' This man is obsessed with Loredana Floris, a television diva whose image has long since become myth. Between chance meetings and peculiar conversations on Roman streets, the line between reality and fiction begins to blur. The young man, initially just a polite listener, finds himself drawn into this game where the promise of meeting the star becomes a question about the very nature of performance and where the role ends and life begins.
