Justus, Peter, and Bob receive a cryptic letter from a distant relative in Transylvania. Instead of the expected inheritance, they find only an old book about the legendary Carpathian Hound and a mysterious warning. Their investigation leads them to a dilapidated castle where locals whisper about nocturnal howls and missing travelers. The real danger, however, lurks not in the dark corridors but among those pretending to be allies. Each clue they uncover further complicates the case, as the legend of a supernatural beast proves to be a smokescreen for far more earthly crimes.
