Kim Hyun-soo, a former police officer, receives a peculiar commission — to find a missing girl, but the client refuses to reveal her name. Instead, he hands over only a photograph and a sum ten times the usual fee. The investigation leads Hyun-soo into the world of underground auctions, where they sell not objects, but people's destinies. Each new step brings him closer to a dangerous truth: the missing girl is just the tip of an iceberg within a system where one can purchase another's life for money. The deeper he goes, the more he realizes he has become a piece in a game whose rules are written by an unknown client.
