Malu

Malu, a mercurial and unemployed actress, shares a precarious house in a Rio de Janeiro slum with her conservative mother. She survives on the fading echoes of a glorious artistic past while navigating the strained, brittle relationship with her own adult daughter. Her present is a precarious balance between the crumbling walls of her home and the fragile architecture of family bonds, where every memory of the stage offers both solace and a sharp reminder of what has been lost.
