Asylum Street Spankers: Re-Assembly

2005 · 187 min Documentary Music

Re-Assembly documents the monumental Tenth Anniversary Reunion of the Legendary Asylum Street Spankers. On August 14, 2004, twenty-one past and present Spankers performed twenty-nine of their best-loved songs before two sold out audiences at the Texas Union Theatre in their hometown of Austin. These concerts were filmed, then edited together to create the definitive three-hour portrait of this milestone concert by God’s favorite band.

🎬 MovieFinder's Take

Asylum Street Spankers: Re-Assembly is an acquired taste at 0.0/10. We recommend checking the trailer and synopsis before diving in.

Not every film is made for everyone. Read the synopsis, watch the trailer — you'll know right away if it's for you.

A 2005 film from an era before CGI overload, with real performances that still hit hard. Best for: genre fans and those open to something unconventional.
