🎬 MovieFinder's Take
The director constructs a chilling contrast between the villagers' picnic-like evacuation and the grim reality of war encroaching upon them. He explores the fragility of normalcy and the devastating moment when collective delusion shatters against the gears of history.
What lingers after the final frame is a profound sense of tragic inevitability, a reminder of how easily ordinary lives are swept into the torrent of conflict. The film leaves a quiet, haunting echo of lost innocence. — MovieFinder Editorial
