John

John, an eighteen-year-old Latino, survives through sex work in Hollywood's most impoverished streets. He steals condoms and medicine from local stores, a novice in the harsh realities of hustling. Peaches, a Black trans sex worker, offers him occasional financial support, while the older, seasoned Miguel schools him in the art of pleasing men. John's nights are spent adrift, scanning sidewalks for clients who will pay for his company. These men, hailing from every stratum of society, confide their stories and secrets in him, each transaction becoming a fleeting, intimate confession.
