🎬 MovieFinder's Take

Fatih Akin constructs a poignant tale that relies on the intimate dynamics of a family business to explore the fractures of immigration and generational clash. The film builds its emotional core on the quiet resentment and unspoken love between a father and his sons.

What lingers after the credits is a bittersweet taste of nostalgia and the universal ache of leaving home to find oneself. The performances ground the story in a deeply human, relatable truth. — MovieFinder Editorial
