Checo and Chuma, two small-time hustlers from a Mexican neighborhood, make a sudden pact to go straight. Trading pickpocketing and petty scams for misguided do-goodery, they attempt to apply their criminal expertise to noble causes — returning a lost puppy, helping a neighbor with repairs, setting up a shy friend on a date. Their clumsy, well-intentioned efforts spiral into absurd chaos, where every attempted good deed threatens to unleash new havoc. As their plans backfire with increasing flair, the duo discovers that playing the hero is far more complicated than playing the villain, and that real friendship is tested not in success, but in the sincere attempt.
