The Dry Loop
Marc wakes in his Paris apartment to discover time has stopped. Clocks are frozen, people have become motionless statues, and the city's sounds have vanished. The only anomaly is a dry whirlpool in his sink, which he names "la boucle sèche." This phenomenon becomes his guide through the petrified world where past mistakes and unspoken words take physical form. Marc begins a journey through the fossilized Paris, encountering ghosts of his decisions while trying to understand what triggered this reality glitch. The 2025 dramatic fantasy explores themes of isolation, regret, and the thin boundary between memory and present. The director creates a world where metaphysical concepts become part of the urban landscape, and the character's internal conflict materializes in the architecture of the frozen city.
