🎬 MovieFinder's Take

Director Yusuke Yamamoto constructs a fast-paced plot that relies on the franchise's signature humor—absurd situations and the platoon's comedic banter. He skillfully balances action, sci-fi, and heartfelt moments, working with vibrant, detailed animation to create spectacular aerial battles.

Those who tire of overly serious stories will find a cheerful, colorful adventure with familiar characters, where themes of self-discovery and friendship hide beneath the surface. What lingers after is the feeling of a kind, energetic celebration that doesn't overwhelm but leaves you smiling. — MovieFinder Editorial
