SEE HEAR LOVE
Manga artist Shinji Izumoto should be celebrating a film adaptation deal, but his world is collapsing: his eyesight is failing, his series is canceled, and he can no longer care for his grandmother. In utter despair, he decides to end his life. He is saved by Hibiki Aida, a deaf fan of his work. Two people who have lost their primary connections to the world begin living together, forced to build communication anew through touch, notes, and silence. Their fragile partnership becomes an experiment in crafting a shared language where sight and sound have faded.

🎬 MovieFinder's Take
The film sidesteps saccharine inspiration, opting instead for a slow, prickly process of two wounded solitudes learning to fit together. The camera lingers on details—hands, lips, the texture of paper—shifting the viewer to a tactile plane of understanding.
What lingers after the credits is not pity, but a quiet respect for the fragility and stubbornness of human connection. It’s a testament to building bridges in the dark. — MovieFinder Editorial
