Mercy

Three sex workers carve out an existence on a desolate coastline, where a makeshift village of society's castoffs has taken root. Their days are a harsh tapestry of poverty, ignorance, and violence. The sole glimmer in their bleak world is Arturo, a young man with the mind of a child trapped in an adult's body. Raised by the women since his mother died in childbirth, he is their collective ward and fragile source of purpose.
