Marco, a nineteen-year-old student from Milan, returns to his native village for his father's funeral. In the old house, he finds a diary that reveals a secret overturning everything he knew about his family. Between the yellowed pages and the silence of the Tuscan hills, Marco begins to understand his father lived a double life. Attempting to piece together the fragmented past, he confronts the silence of the villagers and his own doubts. Each new discovery in his father's study distances him further from the man he knew and draws him closer to an uncomfortable truth capable of shattering his mother's fragile world. The film explores the boundaries of memory and the weight of inheritance we do not choose.
