Jake, a former military diver, takes a freelance job to explore a sunken vessel off the Alaskan coast. A team of five descends into the icy darkness, expecting a rusty hull, but finds something else entirely. Strange organic growths pulse in sync with the sonar pings. It soon becomes clear the ship is not empty. Something ancient and hungry has been disturbed by their intrusion, and their only way up is blocked by collapsed infrastructure. Every breath from their tanks is counted, every flashlight beam catches shadows moving faster than any human could. Paranoia eats at the crew as they navigate a labyrinth of flooded compartments, pursued by a creature for whom they are merely trapped prey.
