La Luna

A storm arrives in the sleepy, devout, and passionless town of Kampong Bras Basah in the form of a lingerie shop named La Luna. Its bold and cheerful owner brings not just lace and silk, but a spirit of liberation. The townsfolk, especially the women, begin to peek into the displays with initial embarrassment, then growing curiosity. But the iron fist of the local religious leader sees a threat to tradition. He is hell-bent on driving the shop and its proprietor out, igniting a quiet war for the souls and bodies of the backwater inhabitants.
