Different for Girls

Paul, a motorcycle courier, crashes into Kim's car. An immediate, puzzling attraction sparks between them, laced with confusion. Their awkward conversation reveals a shared past: they were childhood friends at the same Catholic boys' school. Back then, Kim was known as Karl. This chance collision sets off a series of tentative dates where past and present, gender norms and personal identity, bump against the stuffy prejudices and British reserve of the early nineties.
