🎬 MovieFinder's Take

The film constructs its horror not through gore, but through a pervasive sense of psychological decay and the oppressive weight of a guilt-ridden past. It relies on a classic gothic framework, exploring themes of madness, remorse, and the haunting persistence of memory.

What lingers after the final frame is a chilling ambiguity about the source of the terror—whether it springs from supernatural forces or from the unraveling mind of a broken man. — MovieFinder Editorial
