🎬 MovieFinder's Take

The director constructs a narrative around silent grief, using the landscape of Tohoku as a mute witness to the catastrophe. It explores not the disaster itself, but its long, invisible echo in the souls of the survivors, relying on the subtle performances where the most is said in the pauses.

What lingers after the credits is a quiet, profound weight—not from melodrama, but from its absolute authenticity. It's a film about how to live when the ground gives way, and where to find the strength for the next step. — MovieFinder Editorial
