Good Riddance

Thirteen-year-old Manuelle lives with her mother and younger brother in a remote Canadian settlement. The girl assumes the role of protector of their fragile world, desperately trying to shield the family from invasions of the outside world, whether it's a pesky neighbor or her own uncle vying for her mother's attention. Her love for her mother morphs into obsession, and her safeguarding methods grow increasingly harsh and ruthless. Tension mounts within the isolated house, where childish devotion takes on dark, destructive forms.
