Jonah and the Vicarious Nature of Homesickness

2010 · 10 min Fantasy Drama Comedy

One day Jonah left his family. He gave no explanation and no goodbye — only a telephone number that redirected to an answering machine. Now, as he drifts deeper into an abyss of paper planets and cardboard comets, his connections to time, reality and home are falling prey to the vacuum of space. The signal from Earth is fading and his memories are blurring into obscurity. Only home can save him now but is it too late for Jonah?

🎬 MovieFinder's Take

Jonah and the Vicarious Nature of Homesickness is an acquired taste at 0.0/10. We recommend checking the trailer and synopsis before diving in.

Not every film is made for everyone. Read the synopsis, watch the trailer — you'll know right away if it's for you.

A 2010 film from an era before CGI overload, with real performances that still hit hard. Best for: genre fans and those open to something unconventional.
