Lucifer, weary of hell's daily grind, takes a vacation in a small Italian town. Posing as an eccentric millionaire, he rents a villa, but his plans for a peaceful retreat are upended when the local priest, Father Marco, decides to perform an exorcism next door. Instead of terror, a farce ensues: the demons from Lucifer's entourage prove to be lazy and fussy, while the Prince of Darkness himself is more concerned with the quality of the local wine and a spotty Wi-Fi connection. The absurdity peaks when a documentary film crew arrives, mistaking the real demons for brilliantly improvisational method actors.
