Catalina de los Ángeles Covarrubias Cáceres (November 27th, La Serena, Chile), better known as Yupi, is a filmmaker and Film student at Universidad Mayor (Santiago, Chile). Her approach to the arts began in her teenage years through theater, a discipline in which she founded the school theater club and theater company La Pandilla, where she worked as a screenwriter, director, and actress. Since 2022, she has developed both fiction and documentary projects, working in directing, screenwriting, and production.
