Abdelbadie El Araby

An Egyptian actor, born on July 22, 1912, to a middle-class rural family in Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate. Abdel Badie contributed to the establishment of the Military Theater and starred in several plays, including "Failed," "The Confession Chair," "Country Girls," "Bayoumi Effendi," and "Hassan and Naima." He also appeared in numerous television series, the most famous of which is "Ghawish," starring Nabil El-Halfawy and Safaa Abu El-Saud. His most notable film is "Shame," in which he played the role of a drug dealer father. He is the father of actors Mohamed El-Araby and Wagdy El-Araby, as well as media figures Camelia El-Araby and Olfat El-Araby. He passed away on June 26, 1996.
